Senior Manager, Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
Full Time
Senior Manager/Supervisor

Who We Are

At Clearly Filtered, we’re on a mission to be the trusted name in water filtration, creating loyal customers and leaving people better than before. We’re a fast-growing, direct-to-consumer brand, and we’re building the systems and team to scale thoughtfully.

What We’re Looking For

The Senior Manager, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is the architect and owner of our end-to-end planning process, spanning demand, supply, and S&IOP.

This role sits at the center of the business, translating revenue goals, product launches, and channel strategies into clear, actionable inventory and supply plans. You’ll partner closely with Finance and Growth to ensure we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time, without tying up unnecessary cash.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who thrives in both strategy and execution. You’ll build the frameworks, own the data, and drive alignment across the company.

**This role is based in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Candidates should only apply if they are able to work onsite at least 3 days per week.**

What You’ll Do

Supply Planning & Inventory Management

  • Translate demand forecasts into supply plans, what to buy, when, and from whom
  • Set and manage inventory targets, safety stock levels, and reorder points
  • Optimize inventory across our fulfillment network (in-house + 3PL)
  • Monitor inventory health (turns, weeks of supply, excess/obsolete) and drive action

Demand Planning

  • Partner with Sales and FP&A to build and refine forecasts across SKUs and channels
  • Incorporate historical trends, promotions, launches, and growth plans
  • Improve forecast accuracy and identify root causes of variance
  • Build scenario models to assess upside/downside risk

S&OP Ownership

  • Own and run the monthly S&IOP cadence (demand review → supply review → exec IBP)
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and decision-making
  • Build reporting that makes planning clear, actionable, and trusted
  • Drive adoption and consistency across teams

Systems & ERP

  • Lead or heavily contribute to ERP/inventory system evaluation and implementation (FY26 priority)
  • Define requirements and partner with technical teams on execution
  • Ensure data is clean, connected, and usable across systems

Financial Integration

  • Align inventory plans with cash flow, working capital, and budget targets
  • Provide accurate inventory forecasts and purchase commitments
  • Surface opportunities to improve margin and efficiency

Data, Analytics & Modeling

  • Build and own forecasting models, dashboards, and planning infrastructure
  • Develop safety stock models (e.g., King’s Method) accounting for demand and lead time variability
  • Pull and synthesize data from multiple systems (Shopify, 3PLs, supplier portals)
  • Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for leadership

What You Bring

Required

  • 7+ years in supply planning, demand planning, or IBP (CPG, DTC, or e-commerce strongly preferred)
  • Experience owning or driving an S&OP/IBP process
  • Deep expertise in forecasting and inventory optimization
  • Strong financial acumen (cash, margin, working capital)
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills (statistical functions, scenario modeling)
  • Experience working with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
  • Experience building models and working with messy, multi-source data

Preferred

  • ERP/inventory system implementation experience
  • Multi-channel planning experience (DTC, Amazon, wholesale, international)
  • Background in high-growth environments

Who You Are

  • You build trust through accuracy, transparency, and follow-through
  • You’re highly analytical and self-sufficient; you don’t wait for someone else to pull the data
  • You can zoom out strategically and zoom in to validate the details
  • You’re a strong cross-functional partner who can align teams and drive decisions
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, especially with senior leadership

What We Offer

  • Collaborative team setting with a family-friendly feel
  • Work/Life Balance with 9am to 4pm working hours (yes, really)
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance benefits
  • 401(k) retirement plans with company match
  • 10 annual Company Paid Holidays
  • Bi-weekly company-paid car washes

Compensation Range
